Comment:

Very hard to understand him because he speaks very quietly. Gives a lot of homework and quizzes. The prep work and hw are much easier than the stuff he decides to put on the tests. He does not help you outside of class. Also he will not help you with your grade at all. He will give you exactly what you get. He is an overall rude and mean person.

He's EXTREMELY difficult. I emailed asking him for help and he simply replied "get tutoring." He's not helpful and his tests are WAY harder than the practice tests he gives you. If math isn't a strong subject for you do not take his class

He is super hard. Have a really difficult time understanding the material. He is very educated and knows his stuff but has troubles bringing it down to "student level". Gets frustrated with a lot of questions. Very nice though. Helped boost my grade a lot at the end because he knew I was making the effort!

Not a fan of his class. He has no extra credit, his test are extremely hard. He gives out a practice test but he test he give are like the practice tests on steroids. He teaches very fast, not the best handwriting, skips steps and has no leniency with grades. All of my other calc professors dropped the lowest test but this guy wont work with you.

Not good. It's nice that he makes you feel accomplished in class by doing 3 or 4 pages of notes but when you get home they make no sense. Homework isn't checked and he only asks if you have questions the next class. Noone asks them so you feel awkward. He doesn't go over the homework on his own ever and last 3 tests are sooo hard. Do not match s.g.

Ravi is a great professor. He goes over informaiton really quickly and gives a TON of notes, but you learn and pick up on things really easily. He gives practice tests that are just like the real thing and will be more leanient on grading your tests if you show interest in whats going on. I definitely recommend him!

I loved this class... Ravi was so funny even though he wasnt trying and explained everything so well... Calc is hard but he is willing to explain things multiple times and in terms that you understand.. Final is optional if you are ok with your grade.. I missed alot of class and missed the first test and still made a C otherwise I would made an A

I actually liked this class. Calculus is a very hard subject as it is but Ravi explained everything clearly and I understood every thing he had taught. It is very crucial to go to class every day, I've missed alot of class and have fallen far behind but as soon as I go back to class everything makes sense. The math lab is extremely helpful too.

Terrible!! I asked him over and over for help and I never could get him to help me. His voice in general, not to mention his accent is hard to understand. Has a firm grasp on the material and is a very smart man, but he doesn't really know how to pass on that knowledge.

I found him to be easily understood. He has a firm grasp on the material and moves through at a decent pace. He could use a little move visualization to help students understand the material better. Also, DO THE PRACTICE TESTS! They are exactly the type of material as on the exams.

His lectures move incredibly fast and are all related to proofs. The applied part is when he uses examples to show how the proof operates. He is very helpful but his lectures do not correspond to the tests. The homework also does not look anything like the tests. That is, the tests are 'applied' - everything else isn't.
