Terrible tests. She does not word her exams clearly at all. Her questions are convoluted, maybe on accident but this still messes with the students ability to perform well. Don't take her if you don't have to.

I took this class online, and had to do a group project which is where I had issues. The criteria for the project was not laid out and very unclear. The professor also did not respond well to questions about the project. Do not take online with her.

Took her class online & was ecstatic to see it come to an end. Got an A, but faced constant frustration w questioning constantly incorrect grading ON EVERY SINGLE ASSESSMENT. I kid you not. How ridiculous is it to study the book & the grammatically incorrect & mispelled powerpoints only to see $h!+ on the test/HW that was NEVER covered. Unreal.

I usually take online courses and this is the first I had such a hard time passing. I did every assignment, quiz, exam and project due and was still concerned about passing. It seemed to me a lot of information that was covered on the exams wasn't covered in the book.

By far the worst professor at this college, DO NOT take her course. From day one I've had an F,despite turning in everything I was still failing. She failed every assignment but never would tell me what I got wrong on homework. Secondly her project no matter how hard you work on this she will still give you a bad grade. she's rude and not helpful!

Worst experience with a teacher. Took online 5 week course with her and regret it. What's in the book and PowerPoints is not on tests or quizzes. Good luck finding answers with the tests and quizzes timed.

I took online Chld Psych with this Prof. Frustrating would be the way I would describe this class. Not very helpful. THE TESTS ARE QUESTIONABLE. No one passed her tests. No one. Test questions rarely lined up with study notes or textbook info. I believe this Prof. WANTS you to fail. Squeaked by with a B by doing all the extra credit.

As a person, Prof. Bayar seems nice, and she really does know a lot about the materials covered. However... she's completely lost control of her classroom. We spend 20-40 minutes answering 1+12 kind of questions and listening to students complain about her class and share personal stories instead of learning Psych- and then struggle with exams.

I LOVED MRS. BAYAR! What an awesome professor. She lets everyone know on the first day of class what she expects and when she expects it. She prepares her students for all exams and quizzes as well. She's super funny and makes class very interesting. She's an easy 'A' if you pay attention. I had her for 2 psych classes, & i'm taking her again.

She was very rude and not helpful at all. Her tests we impossible and didn't cover anything we learned in class. In order to do well, it was very important to do all online quizzes from the book. Her grading is not consistent either. She would curve some, but not all. She also could never explain her grading. Didn't "know why" she took points off.

Mrs. Bayar was the best teacher I have ever had! I wish I needed more psych classes so I could take more classes with her! She is so helpful, fair, and makes the class SO interesting. She always relates the material to real life examples, which makes it easy to understand. If you pay attention, you will have no problem getting an A! TAKE HER CLASS!

Comment:

She is super nice but be prepared to take notes from the beginning to the end of the class. It's not crazy important to read the textbook cover to cover, so pay attention in class and you'll be okay. Yes, she doesn't let you make up quizzes, but she drops the two lowest quiz scores and the lowest test, which is fairly awesome.
