His class is very clear. The study guides and labs for the test are included in the syllabus so there are no surprises. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you should still go because the lectures are important information in the field and just for life in general.

Outstanding professor, he likes to talk and if you need help just ask and he will work with you. If you really need some extra help and clarification go to his office hours or set up a meeting with him and he is always happy to help. He wants to see everyone pass and succeed. He does get off topic sometimes but he's typically humorous when he does

Dr. Lindberg's Psy457 capstone class was great, he treated us like adults, was interested and gave a lot of advice about career paths and grad school etc. He made the process more clear to me and the class was great. one of the few classes at Marshall I felt a professor actually helped me with real life situations.

Comment:

Dr. Lindberg was such a fun professor to take this semester! Class was enjoyable, prof is very humorous! Attendance isn't mandatory, but it helps because some days he will give you questions directly off of the test. I would highly recommend taking this course. Oh and he also looks like Ted Allen from Chopped!

Comment:

Lindberg's tests are hard, but he assigns 2 labs per test (3) that are only a page & they cushion your grade. The only downfall is these are the only grades you have in the class. He gives you study guides for all the tests on the first day and they are just like the tests which makes them easier. I would recommend him if you're thinking about it.

The tests were super easy because he gives you a very specific study guide. However, you do have to read the book to do well on the tests. Lectures are not completely related to the material on the tests, but they are super interesting. I would highly recommend taking him.

Lindberg isn't a bad teacher.... if you show up to all his classes he may give out some test answers, you have to study to pass his class, but he gives you a study guide in the syllabus

I absolutely adore Dr. Lindberg, he has a reputation for being tough but if you are motivated and do the work, you'll love him! He hates lazy students though so avoid if you want an easy A, you really have to work for it. I learned more from him than anyone else and I really look up to him and go to him for any help I am seeking

He is extremely helpful if you go to his office. He does get off on rants and he will call all of you useless in so many words. I kind of found it funny, because it was light hearted. The guy knows his stuff, he expects you to do the work and he will reward the ones who do come to class by giving answers.

He's a very cocky guy, loves to hear himself talk. He can never stick to one subject without going off on a rant. Very political and opinionated. Read your book and do the study guide, you should be fine. I had him at 8 am and really never go to class, but he does give essay questions on that day - so good luck if you don't go.

Go to CLASS!!! He gives you test questions on days with low attendance! He reads them directly off the test. Do the study guide and learn it and do all the labs assigned and you will get an A! He just requires a little effort on your part. He really isn't as bad as people say on here. However, he does go off topic A Lot!

There is no point in coming to his class. He talks about whatever he feels like talking about that day. You basically have to read the whole entire textbook multiple times to get a good grade on the tests.Probably my least favorite professor so far at Marshall.

Off topic 100% of the time. No powerpoint lectures. Lectures consist more of politics than material covered on the test. HARD TESTS unless you read the book after every class. You honestly have a better chance passing if you never show up and just read your book

This is the worse professor I've ever had and I graduate this December! He doesnt not how to stay on topic and he is arrogant. He told me that I couldn't achieve my dream of becoming a psychologist. Do not take this class NO MATTER WHAT! It is one of the worse mistakes I've made ever since I started college.

I really liked this professor. The class was interesting, but his lectures were often off topic. The study guide he gives you is basically the test, so study that thoroughly and read the chapters! He was very helpful when I had questions and was also funny in class! :-)
