She's a hard-working, caring, and wonderful professor. I played in the orchestra for 5 years and loved it. She is tough, but she only wants the best for the ensemble. She hands out challenging repertoire and helps you through it. I love Dr. Smith! Also a very talented violinist! WONDERFUL teacher and person!!! :)

Music theory is definately not the easiest subject in the world, but she is willing to answer your questions and work with you so that you can understand it. Very kind and patient. I'd recommend her to anyone, especially for theory and aural skills.
