He claimed that you would fail the class if you didn't use the textbook. I didn't even download it and got a 94. His lectures are long but contain a lot of really cool things. Most of the people that say he wasn't helpful didn't pay attention in class.

Marc is an extremely passionate person. Probably one of the only instructors with a passion for teaching as well as audio. You may not care about what he has to say, but listen in and it will benefit you.

Marc Pinkys lectures contain a very small amount of substance scattered throughout his poor, lame attempts at inspiring students. His book is vague, there are no tests, and his assignments (which are 20% of your grade) are even more unclear. When I emailed him for clarification on an assignment he replied, completely off topic, and mocked me.

Had a great time in this class. Pinsky really knows his stuff when it comes to interactive audio, and took the students who had little to no interest in the subject and turned them around by the end of the month. Very smart guy, a little dorky, not a bad thing.

Pinsky was the worst instructor I had at Full Sail. His lectures were factually inaccurate, he didn't know his stuff, and it was a total waste of whatever it cost me to take that class. I could've taught that class and done a thousand times better than him. Biggest waste of money at Full Sail after the paint. And I got a 99 for the class.

Theres a reason people dont like him. He acts like you care about his personal interests. He doesnt respect others opinions. Responds to emails with DOH! he knows his stuff but was a real dork and everyone in his department knows it. Its a good thing hes the head of the department so he has job security.

Kick ass teacher! He knows...everything! Very nice and very informative. Fun to hang out with in lab. If you don't like him then you probably screwed around during class. I hope anyone who doesn't like him fails out cause he's one of the best teachers. He has energy all the time and is always taking crap for it. If you make fun of him for it, I hope you fail out and waste your money.
