Worst professor I've ever had (including all levels of classes in undergrad, HS, grad school...She was an extreme leftist and actually told me in class that she did not respect me because I was in the college republicans.

I agree w/ a bunch of you--I'm a CC grad, and she was the number 1 reason I switched from IR to something else. I hated the way she played favorites and if you weren't interested in the rights of indigenous ppls as your area of interest, then forget it. Her int'al relations class doesn't teach you anything.

Marcheta was a horrible professor and one of the largest factors in my decision to change majors. She held high standards for her students and did not hold any for herself as the professor. She became involved in the personal lives of students and those students who weren't in her "circle" , i believe, were penalized in their grades.

I graduted from Canisius and had problems with Marcheta. The only reason I'm bothering to do this now is so that other students who are thinking of studying IR at Canisius thing TWICE! Try PoliSci or International Business but BE AWARE Marcheta is a very poor teacher who DOES NOT prepare you for IR related jobs. Just check out her ratings here!

Awful... ROTC students weren't jerks, they just werent afraid to stand up to her imposing her liberal views on everyone in the classs. She is a nice woman... but god that book and this class is awful

The only hard part of this course is the geography quizzes each week. The class is interesting as long as you don't get any ROTC kids in there to act like they're hot ****. The novel is weird but it's better than most books you will read in college!
