she does not test you on the important things but put lame problems on the test instead, about things she never taught. Becareful and always check your test scores because many people in class found a bunch of grading mistakes on their tests.

She does a horrible job lecturing and testing. Thick accent, students are required to buy a packet of her notes, and many mistakes while drawing mechanisms.Also her tests do not accurately represent the material in the book. I have gotten an A in every chemistry class, so believe me when I say there are other profs that you should look for.

I have never seen a professor make so many mistakes while lecturing... The book will guide you better than wasting time sitting in her class, copying down incorrect mechanisms, and listening to her boring stories about nylon.

this class is obviously a little more complicated and difficult than the gchem class. Really pay attention to her notes (although it is lame that you have to buy them...) and the class worksheets are GOLD! Study those, and do the book problems and you'll be set.

wat more do you PPL want? she tells you wat she expects from you... GIVEES you all these discussion handouts... all you got to do is TRY. Not MANY chem professor GUIDE you with what they want like her. shes the best if you go to her office hours... anyone evver try that before giving her a bad rating?

Study the practice quizes and make SURE to do the practice mid-term (she wont post an answer key though, bleh). Overall, she hits you with expected stuff on the mid-terms, final is a little tougher. All exams are too long though, must hurry. Honest efforts yield deserving results. If your a crammer, second midterm and final will destroy you.

HER TESTS ARE NOT "HARD." O CHEM IS JUST... "YOU GET IT OR YOU DONT" KINDA CLASS. SHE'S ACTUALLY NICE AND NOT "MEAN" WHEN YOU ACTUALLY "GO" TO HER OFFICE HOURS. She's hard to understand, a little mean, and makes you buy this useless 50 page packets of her notes. I didn't utilize office hours nor did i read before lectures but I still got an A. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ARE THE DISCUSSION WORKSHEETS. Memorize those and you're golden.

Her midterms were kinda of easy but the final is horrible. Also the grading system is weird. I hated her class because she was a horrible teacher and didnt teach anything since she skipped around soooo much. Her voice is monotone, and I could not keep my focus. You need a tremendous attention span to survive her lectures because they are BORING. She does research in "how students learn chemistry" so it's ironic that she cannot inspire an ounce of passion in students. The exams were long, but I was never shocked by anything (i.e. exams are fair).

HORRIBLE! just horrible. she makes you buy lecture notes for $5 and they don't help one bit! her tests are okay if you go to discussion. i learned nothing from her. going to lecture was a waste of time cause it was useless. she doesn't teach anything. don't take her. Just don't take her class if you can avoid it. I've heard that King's not much better since Taagepera taught her. Taagepera made us buy her notes on top of the book and didn't teach from either. Good luck...
