Comment:

I had taken 13 years of French before and placed into 101 because I wanted an easy A (I don't recommend this in 101 levels you have class 4 times a week instead of 2 or 3). I was comfortable with the subject matter so I skipped class a lot, she doesn't take attendance. Assigns a lot of busy work and keeps you until the end of class. Nice lady.

The class is easy, but the professor is kind of crappy. She will assign homework on a Sunday night at 11pm and want it done for your 9am class. But then she doesn't take off points for late homework? She curves the quizzes & tests a lot which helps. She only speak in french and always corrects your pronunciation. She randomly calls on you in class.

I adore this woman. She cared so much for all her students - would reexplain as much as needed (she would bake for us too). Only class I would actually take at 8am. Good amount of homework in the textbook but we would go over it every class. Test/quiz questions taken straight from the homework exercises. Gives 1/2 and 1/4 credit on tests/quizzes.

She randomly calls on people and isn't clear with her questions. Biggest issue is she tells you that she's giving a test the day before you have it. Lots of homework that she never checks and doesn't really give credit for - its hard to find incentive for all of the work assigned

She doesn't teach anything, gives homework every night but doesn't check it until halfway through the year when all the assignments are due, she usually doesn't know your name and you can skip but you won't pass the tests, I wouldn't recommend, getting an A was a struggle.

Extremely nice! Class is hard to go to but if you go you will get no lower then a C+. If you struggle with foreign languages I would take her. Exams take about 30 min and there is a huge curve (you could get a 45% and get a C on the exam).

she is extremely helpful and doesn't mind explaining topics over and over again if someone needs the help. her tests are easy and you can finish them in 20 minutes and leave. only complaint is that she spends more time going over homework than she does teaching concepts, so she spends the last 5 minutes teaching and then assigns a ton of homework

extemely nice prof. very easy to understand and an awesome teacher! writes notes on the board and you just sit there and copy what she writes. assigns a lot of homework though but it helps when it comes time for the test. very funny. if you study and know your stuff, tests are really easy and it'll be a breeze. very easy grader.
