Comment:

A Great Choice! Hamilton does excellent at breaking down concepts and explaining them, she also gives very in-depth study guides about a week before the tests, so you have time to study exactly what is important and will be on the tests.

Comment:

Hamilton is an excellent professor! Having taken Psych 202 and Stats 210 with her, I can say she does a great job explaining concepts and breaking them down so they are easier to understand. Make sure to take advantage of the extra credit she gives. Also, look over the study guides she hands out a week prior to the exam and you'll get a good grade.

Wonderful professor to have if you are really interested in psychology, whether it's just for credits or genuine love for the subject. I really enjoyed her anecdotes and unique explanations of certain topics. If psychology is a genuine interest of yours she should be your top pick as you can really see her light up when students participate.

Her lectures are important to listen to. She is kind of kooky! Make sure and study for her quizzes by reading the assigned readings AND going over the exam reviews she posts. She will show videos and ask questions about those videos on an exam but she will not post on the syllabus when she will be showing the videos. Just attend class regularly.

Hamilton is excellent! She is extremely knowledgeable and witty. She goes over everything you need to know for the exams during her lectures and releases study guides for the exams a week or two in advance that are very straightforward.

Have taken 3 psych classes with her (Abnormal, Statistics, Personality) and wish they offered more of them with her because I actually liked going! She makes class interesting and often uses humor. She gives out a study guide about a week before each exam - if you go over the topics on it you should get a good grade.

I was nervous about taking statistics (PSY 210) but Prof. Hamilton breaks each concept down in a clear and understandable manner. She is one of my favorite professors! Show up, pay attention and use the study materials she provides. She is willing to help and truly cares about her students! I've taken 2 psych classes with her and plan to take more!

Margaret is one of my favorite professors. I've had her for 5 classes because she's so awesome. She explains everything very well and answers all of your questions. Very entertaining and treats every student as an adult. Tests are easy as long as you go to lecture.

The ratings are correct - she is a little on the psych side. But she is an interesting character and teaches well. Do the readings, take good notes and study hard because, although her tests are multiple choice, they do require you to know the material. She's very helpful if you need study tips.
