Prof. Walker is not as bad as everyone keeps saying. Yes, if you ask stupid questions, he'll call you out, but if you attend class, make use of his office hours, and simply do the assignments the right way, you'll be fine. He offers a variety of ways for help and there are many chances for bonuses. I recommend Walker highly. An easy class to ace.

He is a horrible teacher, he is inconsiderate, and expects you to know everything that he speaks of, and if you ask questions basically he makes you seem stupid for not knowing. I wouldnt recommend this class to anyone, except maybe my worst enemies, and maybe.

I had Prof Walker for Creative Writing. If you follow the conventions lined out and reviewed in the syllabus, improve with each story, and *read* everyone else's work, you'll be fine. If you're not dedicated or just looking for an easy A, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE.

If you get on his good side he is actually a very interesting and caring professor. If you can joke with him, and your class is closely nit like mine was, you'll find he's not too bad. He does shoot down a lot of your ideas but he has good intentions. He is not as bad as people make him out to be.

He uses high vocab to ensure your opinion of him that he is a well to do black male with no sense of compassion or sympathy. He is also satan reincarnated as the guidance counselor from south park. One of only 2 professors I've ever had an argument with. grades an intro class like a 300 level. I got a C in his class and an A in organic chem 1. Don't take him unless you want to lower your GPA with a nice C. also he says Mkaay all the time. I counted once and got to 146 in a 50 minute class. just not a likeable person.

If you want to really challenge yourself or think your great at writing papers then take him. For a class that everyone needs to take and pass with a C, this guy is way too hard. Very demanding and grades papers strictly. He does know what he is talking about though, but overall just way too hard.

I actually found dr walker very inspirational. He is a very good proffessor and i learned alot from him. He is a tough grader, but he does grade fairly. He likes it when you ask for help. Even though this class is alot of work... i highly highly suggest taking him... he is great... I truely believe that the people under me had no work ethic.

WOSRT PROF I EVER HAD! Not only does he grade papers & essays hard, he gives no explaination as to why you recieved that grade! Attendance is a must or your grade will suffer. The class itself is really boring, ive had classes in HS the were and hour & a half & could get thru them easier than his 50min class! SO DONT TAKE HIS CLASS MMKKK?? LOL

He might just be the worst teacher I ever had. Does not correct your mistakes. He just gives you a grade and his criteria is very contradicting. Uses a huge vocabulary that not all can understand and also uses strange analogies. I recommend NOT taking this class.

Professor Walker is a great professor. I learned a lot. If you are taking this class merely for a gen ed, don't bother, he likes to see heart and interest! He is a GREAT speaker and is a fair grader. Maturity and commitment is a MUST.

Professor Walker grades your papers very hard. He is unfair in terms of grading your quizzes since he does not give partial credit, having no shame. You could have the majority of a question right and for him that is just not enough, if you are missing one small component he will mark it wrong. He demands perfection in an imperfect world!

Professor Walker is very strict on how he grades. His standards are high and he expects nothing lower. This is not an easy class. He is good at speaking though. I think he should have played that coach in "Remeber the Titans" instead of Denzel. Professor Walker does cause you to think about certain areas of life.
