Biased teacher who is incredibly lazy. Gives everyone the same grade on assignments. If she ever resorts to teaching again, never take her class. It's not worth your time or money.

Pearson was very nice to me, but I disliked how biased she is. If she likes you, you're good. If not, good luck. She is funny, but the class just didn't have a central focus really and she can be quite picky and fixated on small things. I liked her, but I can see why some don't. Maybe when not teaching full time she can plan more. That would help l

P^2 tries to be interesting and engaging. She's better at building discussions instead of lecturing. She has a very random humor which amuses throughout the class. If you're very interested in east asian studies, she's a great teacher...loves her subject. If not, well, she won't make you decide to change your major.

After taking one class with this professor, I decided to take another one. She makes history exciting and relevant to our lives. She is extremely knowledgable, helpful, encouraging, and passionate about her work. She stresses the importance of events and the cycles of history, instead of memorizing facts and dates.

sadly a very dissapointing teacher, boring and unclear, and not at all consistent in assigments. her class became a chore not an enjoyment.

My freind and I call professor Pearson Bob, because she doens't deserve the title of professor, nor even her own name. She is scattered in lectures, and does not stick to her own syllabi. Worst of all, she changes assignments without informing her student

Professor Pearson isn't the best lecturer, but she is a wonderful person and encourages students to make connections between course materials and their own lives. Definitely chat with her outside of class if you take one of her courses.

when she actually shows up to class, we have boring discussions and everyone is thankful to leave at the end. It's a shame. She probably was a good teacher at one point, I think it's time for her to retire.
