She's a brilliant professor and absolutely knows what she's talking about. Three out of our five exams were open book but make sure you know the main core of the chapters then you can breeze through the exam. If you like to participate in class than this is the course for you but beware she will look to you if no one else is giving feedback.

Dr. Bryant is a solid professor. Her grading isn't the most difficult and most of the exams were open book. Yeah, open book. She posts all of her lecture notes online so even if the exams weren't open book you'd still be given everything you need to get an A in her course. Plus she's sweet as can be. Highly recommend.

I found every lecture from Dr. Bryant to be interesting and compelling. She truly cares about teaching and she is an all around pleasure to listen to. This class is difficult, and you do have to be ready to work hard. But it feels rewarding and she made the class enjoyable. Read the textbook! Lots of extra credit opportunities.

Professor Bryant does a very good job of explaining things in her lectures, and she shows things from a neutral point of view. I really enjoy her class and there is only a few assignments that you have for homework, there isn't daily homework. Make sure you're reading through the chapters to better understand, most tests are open book though.

This teacher cares about students and gives very educating and interesting lectures. She also helps students on the tests (which are extremely hard) as much as possible by making the tests often open note and book.

Really enjoyed her class. Always made an effort to keep class interesting and get students involved. Her tests are a little difficult but most of them are open notes. Very kind person and it was a pleasure to be there unlike other professors in the department.

Of my 4 classes this semester, this was the most enjoyable class. It was an easy A, but it still allowed me to explore the world in ways I never thought of. For exams take notes during lecture and read the textbook and you'll get at least a B. For an A, be able to apply sociological terminology in real life situations.

I really enjoyed her class, she is very helpful and her syllabus is self explanatory and is always up to date. You will need the book, but majority of her assignments were free b's. So there should be no reason to not pass !

Still Wish I could take more classes with her after all of these years, I had her for a few years for maybe two or three classes, on line courses, fast paced, and other regular classes. She opened my eyes to the global economy, global politics, and American politics, and cultural geography, women's rights, it was more than just classes, eye opening

I liked Dr. Bryant as a person, she was very easy to talk to. I her for a mini-semester. She encourages class participation but if you don't like to speak out, be sure you're paying attention. I worked really hard and I still only got a high "B". But it was a great experience.
