She is a great teacher! I have never had a professor that gets your papers back so fast. She provides all the help you need to help your writing and she actually READS your paper (unlike other teachers)! I would recommend her to anyone!

Nonfiction Workshop. Her style is challenging, especially to someone much more comfortable in Fiction writing. She acts nice all the time, and when she isn't feeling nice, and you can tell through her guise, it is disturbing. The challenge of her class, her assignments, and her criticisms, while torturous for me, has helped my writing greatly.
