Comment:

Maria's nice, but dull, and doesn't explain concepts well. It's easy to zone out in her class. She expects you to define psych terms being used (will take away marks if you don't), but besides that, she's an easy marker. We also fell behind in the third week (??). Her tests are slightly unclear, but if you study, you'll be ok. I'd take her again.

She's a good prof, quirky but really wants her students to enjoy the lecture and understand the material. If you read the textbook and attend class, you won't have a problem passing. She loves when students ask questions and she makes the effort to get to know her students.

Comment:

She is ok prof. if you sit in the back you will zone out for sure. She has a monotone voice. The content of the lecture is really good and interesting, but she is not creative on how to teach the lessons. She just explain rather than be more creative on how to teach the techniques & concepts. Overall it is a good class but she can be boring.

I really liked her social psychology class. She is pretty nice and funny. The lectures are pretty interesting. I would take a class with her again.

her tests are not straightforward as most professors do, but you will nail it if you truly understand the concepts and techniques. Easy marker on paper. A is not easy to get but possible to gain. Actually, least 5 or 6 students get A in my class. Be aware every detail on lecture even if they seems so unimportant, they will be on the exam.

Maria might be nice person but definitely she is not capable of teaching. She reads her slides, couple of videos and really unclear hard exams. When you ask for help she mumbles and she seems like she's not paying attention to you. I love psychology but she made it painful to learn. I would never recommend her classes to anyone.

Maria is a great person, unfortunately that doesn't follow through with her teaching. She's very quiet and doesn't quite explain herself well. Written questions on exams were very difficult to answer, and she wasn't very clear when approached for help. If you can take this class with someone else, do it.

She is a nice person but sucks at teaching. She is very passionate but her voice pretty much killed me. She is useless, you pretty much have to learn on your own. Her lectures suck, and her examples make no sense. She waits for the final to tell you your term paper mark. But her test are easy and very straight forward if you study from the text.

Unprepared,disorganized,alwayslate to class. Didn't mark our projects even at the last class.Skipped a lot of course material but it was still on the exam.Waste of money and time to take this course with Maria. She's nice, but nice doesn't mean good teacher. Don't take her if you dont have to. If you do, you will agree with me at end of term.

Good teacher, easy and helpful. Sure she's not really confident and sounds really weak (voice) so it's kinda hard to listen so sit in the front row. Overall, a good and relaxed teacher. An easy A for sure!
