She's an awesome teacher. Responded to questions immediately via class mail & is really concerned about students. She gave great web links to videos to help with learning Spn. She graded quickly & fairly. Getting an A is possible, you just have to do the work and keep up with VHL which is assigned by the department not her. I would take her again.

Lots of homework but that is normal of a language class. Definitely take her online because all the grades are online anyway and she counts attendance but she only goes over what the online material taught you. Definitely take online, easy class, and just a lot of homework but it's not too much to handle because it's all pretty easy.

Prof. Redmon cares deeply for her students and wanted us all to pass the class with A's. She will post study guides before quizzes, which I feel is very helpful. We also do lots of review in class as well as work on Spanish lab and StudySpanish. She is disorganized however, and it takes weeks for her to post grades for quizzes.

Took her for online spanish2 requirement. She gives A LOT of homework 2x-week but it helps w/practice and she gives unlimited tries. Needed the book but got the online text (buy though VHL site its CHEAPER & can use it through SPN 1&2! it is a 1-time buy). Tests are kinda hard w/lots of typing, 4 small writing assignments and many video recordings.

Profesora Redmon isn't that bad of a professor. If you need help she is always there to help. Theres A TON of homework/quizzes/webcam presentaions so be prepared to work for your grade but all the assignments come directly from the book or the VHL assignments. As long as you study you're golden.

Takes a ridiculously long time to grade quizzes. Two weeks passed and still had not received a grade. Do not take her.

Easy online class. She's fairly lenient with grading but often takes awhile to get your grade in. Ended up with a B (Hardly) but that's because I didn't do the VHL assignments in a timely manner. Do the assignments and you'll get an A without trouble.

Horrific teacher. Rude, unorganized, takes forever to grade assignments and could not care less about her students. She may be better in person, however, her online class is a waste of time and does nothing but cause anxiety.

Professor redmon is an amazing woman. She will teach you a lot through her stories. She isn't your conventional teacher. She loves her students and isn't quick to fail you. Gives a lot of homework but if you do it you'll be alright, even if it's all wrong. Great learning environment.

Great professor for taking this course online! Was super clear with all instructions and grading. A lot of work but I took the course over summer B so it was expected.

DO NOT TAKE HER! She's unorganized and this class is a waste of time. I have not learned anything. Suddenly have a 2.2k word report out of nowhere along with 63 questions to go with it. Due in a week. I've had nothing but problems with this course. Save yourself time and money and do not take it and take something beneficial where you will learn.

Maria Redmon is a very, very sweet lady. She isn't very organized but she really cares about her students. As others have said, do not take her if you are planning to take any other Spanish classes in your career. But if you just want Spanish 2, she's your best bet at an A!

If spanish is your major/minor or you're seriously interested in learning spanish I suggest you STAY AWAY!!! If you're looking for an easy A, go ahead. She's unorganized; way too much work that she doesn't check. The key to getting an A is for her to like you and at least try. I'm taking this class again to learn though I got an A. This is my minor

Adorable lady, brought great food, interesting... like a TV series every semester. A true spaniard though: very preocupied with whoknowswhat. While many comments have accuracy, she went through some tough times, so be nice. Still, not always as easy as they say. It just depends on the semester. UCF is getting more strict.

We literally did nothing all semester but one real assignment, one real project, and one test. She lost both my test and assignment. Made up my grade because she literally told me she lost my stuff. The only reason she didnt lose my project is that I presented in class. Worst professor at UCF.

Wow. Believe the comments. She is a terrible professor. We didn't have a book. The class was medical translation - all she did was pick random websites and tell us to translate them. Google translate is your best friend. Lets you speak english. Haven't learned a thing and my spanish is worse. Easy A because you dont do anything at all in the class!

Believe the comments: she is so unorganized, it's ridiculous. I had to constantly check that she had my grades recorded. Her idea of grading is writing it on a random piece of paper and throwing it in her bag. Good luck. Still, she was super nice and made assignments easy. Lots of busy work for no reason, though. Take if you know Spanish already.
