Comment:

She was a fantastic teacher who really wanted her students to learn the language. She's a pretty easy grader, just don't take advantage of that, you actually need to do the work. If you go to class and complete the homework, you'll get full points for participation and homework. She is a super sweet woman and I would recommend her to anyone

She puts everything on Blackboard, so if it's unclear during class what your next assignment is, check the site. She may seem a little unorganized, but she's a sweetheart. All the projects were really relaxed and the students had a lot of freedom in choosing their topics. I learned A LOT of conversational Spanish from this course.

Comment:

STUDY the vocabulary and the Modismos more than anything. The majority of her tests are vocab-based. Also, brush up on our short-answer and essay skills. She grades very easily on oral exams and presentations. Go to class EVERY time; she grades on participation. It's boring but the homework is easy (she glances at it and gives you points for it).

This class (3150) is very easy. There is homework often, but she just checks for completion. There was a lot of vocabulary that was needed to do well on her written exams. She grades easy on the oral exams, so don't stress over them. She takes attendance, which accounts for your participation points. Be sure to know the vocal for the exams!

This is a vocabulary class with not enough speaking going on. Span3150 is a SPEAKING class, and she presents it as a vocab class. On the 1 speaking test (10% of grade) almost everyone got an A, but on the written tests (50% of the class, ALL vocab), no one got an A

Be prepared to write essays in class,you should have a good dictionary. She takes attendance and gives points for doing homework but she just glances to make sure you did it. I didn't learn any new grammar and the stories we read weren't the most interesting but she's an ok teacher. Go to class even though she's a bit boring and you should be fine.

Pretty easy class, be prepared to write in class essays and have a good dictionary, she glances at your homework to make sure you did it and gives you points for that, also takes points for attendance so go to class even though she's a bit boring

Definitely one of the best Spanish teacher's I've ever had. If you don't understand something thing she'll definitely help you understand it better and she taught me more about Spanish history than all my other teachers combined.....
