Dr. Kaz's lectures are hard to follow. He draws multiple circuits with graphs and then will write down multiple equations expect you to understand the relationship between them. Tests are not too bad if you do the suggested homework which is similar to test problems. Final grade determined only from 3 tests. Seems like a nice guy though.

His accent takes a little bit of time to get adjusted to. Tests weren't hard if you knew the theory and how to solve problems. He tells you which problems are likely to be on the test. Lectures can be a bit hard to follow. His grad students are nice graders. If you study the theory and practice book problems you will pass

All of his foreign students have given him repeatedly good reviews. His lectures are awful. He's all over the place and repeatedly making mistakes. He consistently changes his nomenclature to further complicate things. His writing is hardly legible and his accent is super thick. Luckily the book is wrote nicely...

Good Professor! The class is useful. Your final grade will depend on the three times tests, and each test has three questions that are taught in the lectures, so you need to take a good note and remember it. No ppt is on the pilot, but he will write down everything on the blackboard. Good luck!

Dr. Kaz's class was not the class that I expected. However at the end of my time in the class I left with a better understanding of power electronics and a high respect for the professor. I didn't like how the grades for the class were only from three exams but it forced me to learn the material well by repeatedly practicing the homework problems.

Dr. Kaz is willing to help and wants everyone to understand the material. He is always available to go over problems and to help you understand what is going on in class. The student that do not do as well tend to not ask questions or stop by his office hours. His test are striaght forward either from example problems in class or the homework.

One of the best Teachers at Wright State. Gives very challenging assignments, and can be lively/humorous when students contribute to the class(answers questions). Tries every way/manner to explain a concept. He is very helpful, and everything his from his Notes and not the Books(though written by him). Overall, excellent Teacher.

Dr. Kaz is extremely knowledgable and a genius! He is very helpful and available to answer your questions ANY TIME you stop by his office. It is very possible to get an A in his class if you attend classes and take good notes. He will tell you exactly what to study for before the exam and his exams are not tricky at all.You will LEARN in his class!

Didn't get as much from this class as I was hoping. Lectures were often mediocre and messy. Seemed as if he was making the subject matter harder than it had to be. Better to rely on his TA's to actually teach you things clearly.

Comment:

Likes to test based on his notes, despite the fact he wrote the book that's used in class. Don't study his book, maybe with the exception of practice problems. Be very careful when studying so you don't forget ANYTHING important. Make sure to learn to solve for any set of possible given values. Quite possible to pass with a 'B' with some work.
