I absolutley loved having Shih as a prof. Her lectures can be a lot but she explains labs very well. Her study guides help A LOT, so use them. And she also gives out a ton of extra credit which is optional but highly recommend doing. She is very nice and cares for her students. She is a REAL teacher and not just a regular professor.

Shihh is a crazy prof. She is very kind person, but gives way too much detail in lectures. Thus, you end up confused. She is not very reliable with office hours and is hard to track down. She gives out sooo much extra credit. DO ALL OF IT! I would not have passed the class without it. Extra credit will help you pass tests anyways.

Shih is super nice & helpful. The class was super interesting & was mainly centered around the labs. She is very clear in explaining what she wants and how to do the labs, but sometimes a little too in depth. One day, she talked for 4 hours explaining how to do the lab that took 30 minutes. Be prepared to be there the full 5 hours, but she's great!

I do not have a bad thing to say about Dr. Shih. At first going into the class I was extremely nervous because the work load seems overwhelming but once you get organized and get used to the class it is not bad! Plus you get a TON of extra credit and a cheat sheet for every test! I recommend :)

Dr. Shih is a very funny and nice professor. She is very helpful. Labs are pretty easy but tests can be hard. You can make a cheat sheet for the test which is awsome. There is plenty of extra credit to do which really helps boost your grade.

Dr.Shih is a cool and helpful teacher. Go to the all of the labs, test are not too hard,but with the extra credit there is no way to get anything less than a C. Get a C on all four test, do the labs, and do all of the extra credit, there is tons of it

Dr. Shih was funny and very helpful. Every time I e-mailed her, she responded quickly and professionally. Her tests are hard, but the labs are easy as long as you go. There is a lot of extra credit! If you do every extra credit, show up for class and lab, there is no way you will not get an A in the class

Loved Dr. Shih! she is awesome. She makes corny jokes that you just have to laugh at. TONS OF EXTRA CREDIT!! and it's not even hard to do! i barely used the textbook. but maybe i wouldve done better on the tests if i did.

Dr. Shih was great. She's entertaining to listen to even if you're not interested in the topic. She offers a ton of extra credit. The lab manual offers all the answers to the prelab homework and how to work out the problems to you know how to do them, plus she allows one cheat sheet for the first test, two for the second, and so on...

Dr. Shih is nice, and wants everyone to pass the class, considering she gives TONS of extra credit. Its impossible to fail the class, but sucks for those that do good w/o extra credit. Go to the labs, and take notes for test (you can use them for test), and you're guaranteed to pass. Easy class.

Dr. Shih is a real nice lady, and tries to get her students interested in physics. Lab attendence is recorded, but lecture isn't. Tests is kind of difficult, but she allows cheat sheets (which are EXTREMELY helpful!!) If you have to take physics, I recommend this teacher...and she offers quite a bit of extra credit!
