Shes amazing. With the short period of time that I had her in intersession, she was fantastic. She was willing to help you with any of her criteria and to excel with your grades. Humor & personality was great too.

Dr. Linz is so sweet which makes it hard to be mad at her, but shes not a good professor. I just think she is too busy to be an effective instructor. She doesnt upload grades, she tests on concepts she doesnt lecture on, and her study guides dont help. Im a straight A student in nursing and Ive made Cs in this class because its so scattered

This was her first time teaching the class and honestly i expected more from the department chair. we are about 4-5 weeks behind other sections of this class. tests are short answer. cant keep track of your work, she is a month behind on grading. if you ever need to have her do something for you, make her do it in front of her or she'll forget!

Comment:

Marianna is one of my favorite professors! She is supppppeeeerrrr sweet & genuinely cares about her students and their grades. She wants everyone to pass, and understand the material. If someone don't understand, she wont go on. Had her for EXP PSY & she made it a blast, and very enjoyable. Will take her again in the future and recommend!

She is the most unorganized professor I've ever taken. It takes her a month to grade papers and she changes dates for tests during one class and if you miss you won't know the test was changed. She never returns any emails, phone calls, and is never in her office so good luck trying to get ahold of her

Dr. Linz is very sweet, but she is not well organized. There were times she would move the test date, but you wouldn't know it unless you were in class on the day she moved it. It took her weeks to grade things and her study guides did not really help for the test. No homework, just 4 short papers and 4 tests. Not too bad.

Dr. Linz is AMAZING!! I absolutely loved having her as a professor. Almost all of my classes this semester attendance was pretty much mandatory, except this one, which was great! There was 4 short papers and I made a 100 on all. If you try you will pass! I learned a lot and would definitely take her again!

I took this as a summer class during session 1 where you go 5 days a week for one month, it was hard and I had to study alot but she was a great teacher and I would take her again. Very interesting in her lectures and easy to talk to and participate in class.

Very intellegent woman, she knows a lot, but not the best teacher. Lectures are very boring. Wouldn't be so bad, but tests are EXTREMELY difficult, and often don't correspond with the material (1/4 questions not from notes, book, or study guide!). If the course were more organized it would be a much better class. Dr. Linz is understanding though.

Great Professor! She is sooo interesting and time goes by so quickly. She is very fair and gives you the chance to argue your point on questions you missed on the exams if you come to class the next day! Study, come to class, take good notes and you will do fine. I got an A and really enjoyed the class as well!
