Just don't take her, she is the worst teacher that I ever had. If you ask something to her, she will not help you. I failed her class, even though I was doing my best in her class. I just don't like this teacher. I hate Hist 330, but I took Hist 320 with M. Galvin, she is very nice lady.

Ms. Nelson was an excellent professor. There is a lot of reading, but you can usually skim some of the stuff you couldn't get to and be okay. SHe makes class fun and interesting and she just wants you to learn and see how history effects your life today. She is a very nice person and does what she can to help her students succeed.Take her class!

she gives a rediculous amount of reading, if you want to take this class, clear your schedule, the reading alone will drown most people. she also treats you like children, stupid activities that we did in middle school, if you like to be treated like a child and read a lot of meaningless packets, hey, this class is for you

Not a good teacher. I got an A, but I don't think I learned anything from the class. She would ask things on the test that she haven't talked about and that wasn't also in the book. She gave a lot of readings that wasn't impossible to keep up. I wouldn't recommend her.

Marie, is an excellent instructor. I was so afraid of taking history mainly because it is not my cup of tea, but she made it really fun. I baught one of the books that we had to read and now I am clued to that book. She makes Womens History fun and important. Very intelligent lady!

i thought she was a great teacher. lots of reading but i didnt do most of it and i still got a good grade. everything was open notes, open books, and take-home. i took her for only 7 weeks. and the midterm and final were so easy. shes really nice and just wants you to learn. i hate history classes but i loved her class.

Marie taught us in an eight-week fastrack class. A lot of material to cover in a short timeframe. She is very knowledgable and very helpful and very pleasant. I am not sure why the other student's didn't rate her higher. She's positive, professional, and covers alot of topics. They must have been lazy-bones or something.
