First day..she comes off kind of hard...but she lightens up...she's awesome. Just go to class and pay attention. You don't even need to read the book...buy it to take it to class...but just read the key points..and definitely read The Hot House

Class is not difficult at all. The subject is interesting and Redd keeps you into it. The entire course is basically tests, reading The Hot House which is very interesting but very vulgar and graphic(realistic views), and go on a field trip to a prison or jail.

Great teacher. I had her for 231 corrections and I ended up with an A. She made us read the hot house book which was really good, actually a book other than the text and it kept your attention. She also takes you on a field trip to a federal prison!!!

Don't eat chips in class and turn off your cell phone. she would probably try to put you in detention if she could. not a very good teacher. unclear as to why you get the grade you do. 15 page paper was useless!

She is not a good teacher, if you intend to take this class you should take criminal theory first because she expects you to know it. The 15 pg. paper is worthless, and she does not mark what you get wrong, she just puts a grade on it.

She read from the book and didn't clarify what the topics were, she definitly needs to come to class more because she missed a lot.

Does not know how to teach. Only recites the head titles in the book and adds her own BS. Not very helpful at all when it comes to group presentations. Your grade depends on what the other class is getting.

Hated the class. I think she knows her work, but she talks more about her family life and how to raise kids than she does on the book. The 15 Page paper with a billion resources was insane and useless; along with the group presentations.
