Dr. Benson is a great professor. He is very knowledgeable and helps you understand things clearly. I wouldn't say it any other way but he is an awesome teacher. He cares about his students and guides us into a right path. Awesome!!!

Dr. Benson is a wonderful professor and I am disappointed that I won't have the opportunity to take any more courses from him. He lectures about real life experiences and cares about each of his students. He made the course on Wills and Probate enjoyable.

Dr. Benson is amazing and a highly respectable man!! I've been blessed to have him for a few classes. He's not only a professor but a mentor. He's sweet and cares about his students dearly!!! Show up to class, Probate is interesting! Study, study study. A in the class. Don't know anybody who doesn't love Dr. B!

I will recommend the instructor. He is easy going, accessible, makes the class fun to attend rather than a chore and is knowlegable too. I found the court observation of SMB courts as very enlightening when it comes to the real world of court casses. Overall if you attend his class, takes good notes and pay attention to him you will do well.

He is really nice prof. if you come to class its helpful, his exams are slightly hard (i had him for wills trust and estate) pay attention to the small details in class. u will have to do 2 court observation for the class, which is actually really fun! if you have any questions, just ask him and he will answer!

Very nice and helpful. Willing to help you make the grade if he sees that you're putting in the effort of completing the assignments. Of course there will be lots of reading and exam on tiny details but nothing that he didn't discuss and if you study law, of course you're gonna do a lot of reading and writing so suck it up!

At UHCL he is the only teacher for 3-4 classes. He isn't as bad as others make him sound. NO TEST REVIWES at ALL. BUT he curves grades (at end of sem)..I made low B's & C's on all tests & ended up with an A- in the class so curve is big as long as you do ALL assignments trough the semester. Lots of T-F on tests & on small detail but again -- CURVE!
