One of the worst classes I have taken. Irrelevant to my major, had to take it as a requirement to graduate. Lectures are unclear and very dull. Combined the whole course content makes absolutely no sense. Advice? Take an easier requirement course. I would have rather had early morning classes with a better professor than this. Not worth my time

I'm in her class now and cannot stand her. She gave our class false hope that the midterm would be pushed back, only to hit us with it 2 days before that it was still on. Constantly has us doing group projects that no one pays attention to. Her lectures are incredibly boring. She's also rude when you ask questions. STAY AWAY

Horrible professor. For a global understanding/cultural diversity class in your degree, this would probably be a great class but the WRONG professor to take. At the least, 3 group presentations, and 2 papers, (obv midterm and final). She will tell you whats on the test, and over 50% involves things never discussed. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT AN A

I left this class everyday confused. Her grading is all over the place and what she teaches really isnt relevant to the subject. She stands in front of the class, reads from the textbook and expects you to take notes. The final is composed of the most random questions from the semester. a lot of group presentations, which makes it boring.

Took her for gender studies and the course might as well have been called "Denninger's Propaganda against men." I handed in the EXACT same paper from a girl who took her a year ago; she got an A-, I got a C. True Story. The final had literally nothing to do with what we learned all year and if you are male, anything you say in class is wrong.

Ridiculous amount of work load for a perspectives class, you teach the class through power point presentations in groups, unfair grading system, will not fail you if you are a senior but does not give many if any A's, if you are looking for an easy senior class, do not take this one, i never wanted to go to class and every class you miss -5%

She is a difficult teacher. She treats most students like preschool children. She is difficult to get in contact with over campus email. If you are able to get her to respond, you will get little to no assistance from her. She seems to exhibit, in my opinion, some gender bias toward the male persuasion. I hope to pull out a C in the class if I can.

TERRIBLE! If you plan on learning anything from here you are sadly mistaken. 80% of the class is group presentations of the chapter. She requires 3 textbooks for her class. By the end of september, the first book of 14 chapters was finished. Some classes we'd have to sit through 100+ pages of power point slides on 2 chapters. Considering dropping

Poor teacher.I Learned nothing. She did not grade me fairly, she did not explain grading- it was all over the place. Classes are all group presentations and are boring. There is a lot of Busy work. I found her to be rude to students. I was interested in the topic before i took the class, now not so much.

Professor Denninger is an extremely nice professor and an easy grader. She grades group work which is pretty much a guaranteed A and never had any tests, just group presentations and the final. She uses examples that are relatable and is flexible when you miss class. I had no interest in gender studies and she got me interested. I would take her :)

the hardest class i've ever taken, i cant believe it's a 100 level class. She is impossible to get in touch with. Her lectures are very hard to sit through and you can never understand what point she is trying to make. Take someone else.

Needs improvement on teaching style...Reads from the book... you must take notes on everything... or your grade will suffer... difficult exams....Make sure you read all the chapters 100%... You must put in a lot of effort in the class....Good Luck!

Her teaching style is a complete joke. She reads definitions directly from a text book while giving very little relevance to any of the definitions. I would recommend staying away from her and only taking her classes if it can not be avoided.

Good class. I don't understand why people think she is hard. Lots of group assignments by so what?As long as you do your share and keep up with her log material, you'll do great. Her class is straight to the point, no run arounds, which is good. She seems a little tough but went you get to know her she is a really sweet lady. I def. recommend her
