JENKINS IS AMAZING. I hated English before her and she made the class great! You write 4 papers throughout the semester, she walks you through each one and you write about things you love! I hate writing and she made the papers easy and bearable. She really shows love to each student and cares about everyone. Best teacher I've had. TAKE HER!!!!!!!!

Jenkins is AMAZING. She really connects to the students and makes the class enjoyable. She is spunky and kind. Her assignments are easy and she makes the essays easy to write. I hate writing essays, but with her, they were bearable. I loved her. TAKE HER CLASS

Alright, to be fair, Prof Jenkins can be intense. Yes, her class can be intense. But here's the thing, she changed how I view English, myself, and the world! She truly cares and she is very prepared each class. She has early class because she expects those who attend to be dedicated. I LOVED this class. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Jenkins is really caring about all her students. I have had a few emergencies this semester and she worked with me to get through them. Gives homework after every class but its not too much and doesn't take too long. She's a tough grader and needs all parts of the assignment, but you're in college. Passionate about subject, class can drag on.

I'm not going to lie; she is a tough grader and she does give a lot of work, but she is clear about the assignments and what she expects. She answers questions your questions very well. You have to attend class, and be on time to get the grade.

Save yourself and don't ENG 1010 from Jenkins!! She get mad if your a few minutes late to her class and always has quiz the first 5 minutes of class, she would be a okay teacher, if she has classes at 10 or 12, but she only has class sections at 7AM, which is too early for English. I have regretted it all semester long!!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Jenkins is amazing. Please take english 1010 from her. Clear expectations. Quizzes are on the syllabus so show up to those days. Don't buy the texts books... share them with a friend in class. She comes to class with enthusiasm every single day. Essays... take home final. Hardly any homework besides reading which you don't need to do to pass

Marilyn is AWESOME!!!! She was extremely helpful! Her philosophy on length of papers is they need to be like a girl's skirt: long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to be interesting. In other words, no required length. I would take her for all my English classes if I could! Attendance is unnecessary but you may miss quizzes if you skip.

I hate english classes, but she helps you gain a great understanding of the english world and how to write clean papers. I learned a lot about grammar. Must go to class, there are reading quizzes from the text. Papers are like a girl's skirt; long enough to cover everything but short enough to keep things interesting. Only 4 papers!

I love her class. Everything connects. I feel ALL the information given is useful. The papers and quizzes are graded fairly. She's a lot of fun and has a positive attitude. She's super organized and everything is CRYSTAL clear. I really enjoyed her class. I recommend her to anyone. She's a great teacher and an amazing person.

She's a very nice teacher, very helpfull. You're gonna have to work hard cause there is lot to do. She will accept late work but will take off 10 points. Go to class everyday and just do the work. Nice class,fun teacher
