Extremely sweet lady. It's hard not to surf the web or text during her class, because she's so permissive, but when we were able to pay attention, we noticed how much enthusiasm and clarity she brought to her very easy-to-understand lecture slides. Uses SPSS but mostly expects students to calculate statistics. Her exams are hard but curves them.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! The only reason I took this course was because it was required for my major and it was challenging for me, but Dr. Thompson was very understanding and patient and you can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success. She is animated and a very sweet lady. She also tries very hard to make the material interesting.

She's awesome. She cares about her students success and about her students in general. She's animated and funny. She loves to get students involved and is quick to help. She tries very hard to help the class understand and never makes people feel embarrassed. She's awesome. I wish she taught more courses that I need b/c I'd take many more from her.

She's awesome. She cares about her students and strives to get people involved during class. She tries to get to know her students and takes pride in the work she does. One of the most personable teachers I have had at ASU. She also has a pretty good sense of humor :) Definitely take her class if you can.

Prof. Thompson is awesome! If you have to take a stats class, take it with her. She's very animated and energetic when teaching, which makes it fun. You can tell she actually wants you to succeed in her class and understand the material. I would definitely take a class with her again.
