Taught very little in Intro to French Readings other than 17th and 18th century French poetry...which uses French that isn't even spoken anymore. Made the class more about getting his interpretation of poetry than French. Nice man, though...I just wouldn't take French with him again.

This teacher is amazing. He is brilliant and compassionate, and his classes will change the way you look at things (especially that film class). He made me love french, and on top of it his classes are interesting and have limited homework. Really a must-take.

He definitely called you out on what you needed to learn better, and although doing so may have seemed a bit harsh in the classroom, it definitely helped you to recognize what you needed help on. And he was always willing to help you learn the language.
