Mariola is a great professor. The concepts were sometimes tough but she gives plenty of resources and practice for help. She is amazing and very easy to talk to and ask for help. If you show up to class and do the homework you will pass.

Perez De La Cruz was a very knowledgeable, very deliberate, and caring professor. She was a tough grader and I certainly had to work hard for every single point she gave me, but my study habits certainly improved and learned quite a bit. Be prepared to work hard and do a lot of homework but overall, I would take a class with her again.

Perezdelacruz is very caring and respectful of students, making her classes very easy to learn in and provides an atmosphere of comfort. Her teaching is engaging and she is very well prepared and thorough. She is a tough grader, but she is fair. She is very easily accessible after classes and will even adjust office hours (given drastic measures).

This is the second class I have had Mariola for and I love her. She does consistently give out homework but it is nothing you can't handle. Mariola has improved my Spanish a ton, she corrects you, but not in a rude way like most other teachers. She is definitely one of my favorite professors and cares so much about Spanish / helping you learn!

Mariola is one of my favorite humans because she is very kind, but she is a tough professor and will make you work hard. The work load is a bit much sometimes, but she has helped me improve my Spanish a lot. She has good office hours and is very helpful if you are struggling.

She is amazing! She is like the mom style teacher. Always willing to drop everything to help answer your one question. She is from Spain and is very knowledgeable about all of Europe and loves to talk about culture. She is super fun and her class sizes are small. Not mean but show up to class, do your best and she'll work with you.

Mariola is a sweetheart & I've taken multiple classes with her now. She's a prof. who really cares about the progress her students make & it's wonderful to see her outside of class & chat, too! She may not be as clear in explaining concepts, but her Spanish is wonderful to listen to & engage in conversation with. I've learned a lot! Genial!

Mariola is one of the better spanish profs I have had! She is very understanding but it is not an easy class by any means. You MUST study. You will not pass if you do not. Her quizzes are pretty difficult but there are many opportunities for extra credit. I would recommend her :) Just prepare to put in the effort!

I've had Mariola for a couple of classes now and I would say that she is the best asset to the Spanish department. She makes sure to speak slower when talking in Spanish so that people who aren't natives can understand which helps if you've never traveled abroad. I would recommend any class that she teaches.

She doesn't really explain the concepts you are learning, She just has you do a lot of exercises and have you grade them with ur peers, however you don't know if it is right or not because your peer could have the same wrong answer. If you ask questions she just explains it the exact same way, and it doesn't help.
