Professor Egasse is a wonderful professor! I was only at IVC for a year and didn't need Spanish 2 so I just had her for Spanish 1 but she taught me more than I could ever learn in High School! She's one of the most passionate and caring professors, she'll do everything she can to help you learn the material

Egasse is an amazing professor. I took both Spanish 2 and 3 from her and I can 100% say that I am now captivated with the Spanish language and determined to become fluent. She is brilliantly smart. She will take the time to talk to you and give you advice on classes to take/degrees you can obtain. She genuinely wants her students to succeed.

Bless this woman's soul, she's truly an amazing professor. She has the best spirit, is very down to earth and ready to make you succeed. She makes me look forward to coming to class. You will make friends, talk about fun subjects, sing cute songs; it's honestly a little party every class. She enhanced my Spanish skills and I am forever grateful!

She is truly amazing. She will teach you Spanish like you live in a Spanish speaking country. She not only has great teaching skills but she also puts herself in the students position and answers your questions in a manner that makes complete sense. She gets two thumps up from me. I definitely recommend her!! Thanks professor, Saeid

In my first semester with Professor Egasse, she turned out to be such an amazing teacher that I stuck around for SPAN 2 and 3 with her as well! The classes give you enough of a challenge where you have to work a bit if you want that A, but she makes it fun. If you're looking to take SPAN 1, 2, or 3, I would most definitely recommend her classes!

I've always had a strong GPA and she gave me a C with a 79.8% I worked my butt off to have her give me one of those "it's clearly stated in my thesis" responses. I asked her to have a heart but I guess couldn't find it. If you want a power hungry person who thinks there better then you because she speaks Spanish you'll love her.

One of the best teacher I ever had. Super easy classes. Spanish 3 is a review of Spanish 2. I never studied and I got 2 A+ Take it if you need to improve your GPA. And she is a super nice teacher as well.

I've taken Spanish 1-3 with this lady and if you give two shizzles about actually learning the language you will learn. If you try to scrape by in this class to get an easy A you will either die of boredom or give up. There is a huge amount of time you need to put in, but if you do it the A is guaranteed.

This professor started off for me as a great professor. As the semester went on, she got worse and worse. She actually ended up getting Bronchitis during my class and missed an entire month of teaching. When she came back, the substitute had made a few grading errors and she refused to correct them. She may be the harshest teacher I've ever met.

Prof Egasse is a lovely lady. She's kind, engaging, prepared, professional, and an exceptional teacher. She teaches almost 100% of the time in Spanish -- makes it easy to learn. Attend class, read the book, do the homework (easy) and practice the online material -- you'll be fine. Egasse works very hard at engaging everyone. She's great.

This class is great if you want to learn spanish, and can understand spanish a little bit. She puts you in groups of two, so you can practice spanish, and its sort of a great way to make new friends in class. Sometimes it was a drag, but you have to speak spanish in class at all times... How else will you learn, right.

she's a great teacher and super nice, but i felt like the class didn't really follow the description. it was a culture and language class, so naturally i expected to learn how different cultures use language. not so much. it was mostly linguistics; phonetics, morphology. also, the exams had random questions that weren't in the notes or the text

Great teacher, always has interesting stories to tell us (in spanish, of course). Most of the HW is optional (not all) but you should do it anyways because most of the questions she assigns appear word for word (seriously, the exact same questions) on the tests! There is lots of group work, but its a spanish class so of course there is group work:/
