M. Nance is an absolute joy to be around. She keeps you intrigued in everything that's going on and she's a great professor. It's definitely not going to be easy because it's microbiology. However, she will do everything she can to help you. This was one of the best classes I've taken at Samford.

Prof. Nance can be VERY intimidating, but she is actually a nice person. I took this class over Jan-term so it's a little bit different than taking it over a whole semester, but I had to study for each test for a couple of hours. I ended up with an A because she gives bonus questions. I would suggest taking her again if you are willing to study.

So hard! If you take Micro, you will have her for lab, so buckle up. Read before class and try to stay up on reviewing material. She will give pop quizzes and they are impossible if you have not studied!

The easiest class I have ever taken in my entire life. It's impossible to make a bad grade with all the bonus she gives. I had over a 100 almost all semester, only studying for an hour for each test. If you need a lab science, definately choose biology 105 with Nance. A sweet lady (if a little stern) but if you stick the rules she is great.

Lab teacher..difficult, intimidating, but nice at heart. Dont be fooled by the stern voice and demanding authority. Shes not at as bad as you think. You'll have to study, or you will fail. But a good teacher that will help you whenever you need it.
