Marj is a nice lady but she goes off topic a lot. Her tangents are distracting and we miss out on talking about whats important. Lectures are dull. You may nod off. She reads from PowerPoints every class. Or youll watch a movie. Homework is intense. Semester project was fun.

Marj Crum is humorous, but often goes off on tangents and it makes it difficult to follow. The students always have to bring her back on track or we wouldn't learn anything! I am a good student and never missed a single class. A's and A-'s and the occasional B+. I only missed two assignments the entire semester, but somehow my final grade was a C?

I finished 4 MCC semesters to date. I worked hard earning 3 B's & 12 A's. I've done courses in advanced eng., math, ethics, sociology, biology, cinema, & many art classes. I took one class w/ Crum, worked hard, only missed 2 assignments, got A's on almost everything. Did both extra credits. Stayed after class. Final grade... C!? don't bother.

I lost interest in her because she was the teacher to say your grade in front of the whole class or say what you are missing. Assignments were VERY confusing and she made me feel like if I asked the help would be so vague you might as well wing the assignment. You HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION or you will not understand whatsoever.

I can't stress enough on how great a professor Marjorie is. She always takes the time at the end of every class to go over any questions and concerns students may have about her class, other graphic design classes, and your educational future. There is a lot of homework given, but they're super easy, the tests are take-home, so don't be worried!

Great easy class. Can use your textbook on all take home tests and HW. HW due almost every thurs, but it is easy. One semester project of your choice. Allowed two "skip" days where it doesn't count against you. Class is interesting and goes by fast! She is an awesome, very kind Professor! Best that I have had at MCC and I'm not a graphic art major.

This class shouldn't exist...it could have been condensed into one 3-hour workshop and we would have learned the same amount and not dealt with all the extra commentary. Marj is normally great, especially with critiques but this class is a waste of her talent, and its unfortunately required for an art degree.

Crum is very experienced and knows a lot about Graphic Design history and future. Sometimes goes long meaningful memories about her past but in the end it helps you understand the topic. If you don't pay attention, she'll leave you behind which isn't difficult.

LOVE HER! shes freaking hilarious i loved going to her class. if you have a chance to take a class with her do it for sure. i have her for history of graphic design which is a really boring class in general but she has a way of mking it enjoyable. if you do the hw its a garenteed A cuz its a 100 or nothing. i cant get over how much i love her!!!

Marj is a very charming person. I enjoyed listening to her stories, but it was hard to sit through her history of graphic design class. Every class was pretty much a lecture straight from a PowerPoint for 80 minutes. If you're not an organized person who keeps track of when things are due on your own, don't take this class. I have had Crum for a few classes now and i love her to death. She is always willing to help her students out as long as you have done your part and shown up for class. She is a stickler on attendance and believes you have to be present to learn. She gives a lot of homework out but only things she thinks is beneficiary in helping you learn.

Marj is a decent person and a decent teacher in SOME AREAS! I took history of Graphic Design with her (A lecture only class) and I WAS FALLING ASLEEP! She's so boring, but she's got a lot to tell. She's really not helpful unless you straight out say, "I seriously need help". All in all, Don't take a lecture only class with her. Lab is ok, though.

Marj really knows what shes talking about and is well-educated in the design world. Her class has a lot of homework, buy if you do it you get an easy 100... and a 0 if you don't! Attendance is important so make sure to be there! She's willing to help with just about anything.
