I took this class at IUB and he was a pretty sweet guy. hes been in gov sector for awhile and talks about china most of class. he doesn't take attendance but I felt it made a difference for me on the three tests he gives.

I loved Professor Akers. He's one of the smartest professors I've ever had. Also, he cares about his students succeeding more than anything. If you ever need help or have questions, he's there. He posts lecture notes on Canvas, but they're hard to understand unless you go to class. If you go to class every week and take good notes, you'll be fine.

This prof makes everyone in the room at ease. He explains things in a simple manner while still managing to instill a solid understanding of complex systems in the public sector. Great guy, great class. His lectures are worth your time!

Very enjoyable class with this professor. I took his course over the summer and as long as you read the text it was an easy A. Very entertaining stories that relate to every topic, and he wrote his own textbook for the class, which helps because he knows the material in and out. Offers help whenever needed.

I love this guy! I took his law and policy class at IU and he is the sweetest man! His lectures are interesting and helpful. The exams are kind of hard but he definitely helps your grade out in the end. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

akers is awesome. the stuff is really pretty difficult if you have never had any experience with law before. and to make it worse, his tests are pretty hard, but he grades them somehow so that even though you may get 70% of the questions right, you get an A. i learned alot from him, and really enjoyed his class. too bad he doesnt teach anything els
