This professor is the easiest Comp. professor ever!!! I barley showed up to class only to receive the essay topic and to receive back grades, but other than that I went to tutoring to get essays looked over. He doesn't do the best with helping write the papers or explaining them, so that's why I went to tutoring.

He was funny and really easy going! Participation only mattered in the beginning! if you just handed your assignment in on time 10/10 youll get a good grade unless your bad at writing! hahaha. i liked the workshops he offered for us they were a definite help!

So his class is alright, it's almost time for midterms with my class but his class isn't the "exciting and fun" class that my reading 011 teacher told me it would be. There's a lot of reading and too many assignments to do. He speaks about his academic experiences a lot. It's more of a study hall than English class.

A nice, friendly guy, but it didn't feel like English. He lectured most classes and didn't talk much about how to improve writing. He looked at our rough drafts but once we submitted final drafts he didn't give feedback and grading seemed a bit arbitrary. You'll pass if you show up and submit papers that aren't garbage.

Prof Amdahl is a nice guy and passionate about Western Lit, HOWEVER, he didn't keep up with the syllabus at all, he talks/reads for the entire hour&1/2 lecture, and material was so unclear/confusing. Listening to his lecture didn't make anything more clear. Wish I dropped this class when I had the chance. Take another prof if you need ENG 221!!!!

Mr. Amdahl is a very good teacher. You do have a lot of writing assignments, just like an other course, but they are pretty simple. He is willing to help and is very understanding. The only thing I have to complain about is we had two hours for the final. Everyone had finished but me. He then rushed me off with still 30 mins left. Good class though

Halfway through the semester changes the syalbus for what he wants, also change how much certain things are worth. No one in the class knows what he is talking about during class. Not even a teacher really, if you can teach yourself then you will be fine otherwise stay far away. He also tests on things he doesnt teach.

He was the most boring teacher I have ever had. He missed a lot of classes but always gave notice. You had to show up or he took points off which sucked because you could pass without showing up. Contrary to what everyone else is writing i found him to be an EASY GRADER, i BSed most of my papers and never got less than a B. Only need the one book.

Some loved Eng 101. In this class,no one did. He missed lots of classes& for most he only gave a few minute notice. His lectures mostly comprise of ok& often goes on different topics, more like a debate class. His feedback on papers were unclear, often just writing no. DOESN'T TEACH or post. Don't expect your grades right away. Class was short.

He was an awful teacher. He never responded to my emails. (Very seldom I should say). Going to class was a waste of time. I pay to learn NOT TO SIT IN CLASS DOING NOTHING. He always let us out early. I haven't learned a thing. I could sleep all through class. It was awful. Look elsewhere.
