Very knowledgeable instructor with an amazing sense of humor. Class is quite entertaining, yet productive. He is extremely helpful ? answers questions cheerfully and provides out of class help. Very patient, never treated a student with disrespect. Passionate about his subject and preserved his enthusiasm even when the class was not responsive.

I was out of school for 8 years and jumped right into Moyer's Calc I class, so Im sure I had a tougher time than most. He is a generous grader even if you took a stab at it and only got the first part right. The final is hard. HE WILL REVIEW 2 OR 3 HW Q'S IN CLASS SO MAKE SURE YOU ASK! 4 tests, and final all worth 20%. note cards works the best

TOUGH! No test review, no going over test after he hands it back just gives you a solutions sheet which does not fully cover some of the probs. The tests are ridiculously hard. He tells you to study the homework / classwork then makes up his own probs or uses even# probs from the book for the test. He picks the hardest possible probs for the test.

Wow, I thought this was easy class. There were many A's from each tests, and that was because prof. Moyer was very easy on grading. He was also very funny, making class more interesting. Obviousely you gotta do your homework and stuff. If you are not going to do homework and complain about grading, why do you attend college?

The average on the first and last exam were so low because many of the students in the class did not do their homework. I did not think that it was neither funny or cute, as he went arounded and checked to see if the students did their homwork. His grading is just ridiculous. He curves your grades which makes it totally inaccurate.

Half of the boys in the class did not do their homework and as a result, people were failing and a handful of them dropped out. Half of the remaining students got a D or lower, some went to the teacher to ask for a better grade, and he promised them a passing grade. He is unfair in every aspect of his grading and enjoys favoritism.

this guy is alil bonkers.....he makes up crazy rhymes and is really pumped about calc...its whackd. He goes over any question you have and is very clear. His tests are pretty tough. He says they are from the book...i couldnt find them in there...
