I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Professor Aquilio. Had him for corporate tax 1 and 2 and he really made me feel confident with my choice to master in tax. Loves to joke around with everyone. Open note midterm and final similar to the homework (legit same problems different numbers!) if you have the opportunity, take him!

Great guy, great class. Open book midterm and final. Questions similar to homeworks. Messes around with students a lot so beware if you're easily offended. He does it to give everyone a break since his classes are very long. Overall he really does care about you and your grade and you'll see that almost immediately.

I took this class online and there were two tests that required you know how to do all the problems on the handouts. Very straightforward. Also gave great powerpoints with audio so it was almost better than an actual lecture. Great experience.

TAKE HIM! I registered for his TAX 600 & TAX 603 classes. He teaches at a great pace and covers a lot in simple terms. However, he tells many jokes and talks about politics during class time; somewhat distracting. Three tests that are based on handouts completed in class; open book and open note with occasional homework!

Took this professor twice. Struggled with the class, asked for help, and all I ever heard from him is "Relax Joe"!!! He made fun of people and never taught anything. If you asked a reasonable question he would make you look stupid. He threatened not to give us a midterm review if people asked too many questions. Avoid this professor. Can't teach!!!

He's a nice guy, but not a good teacher. He explains rather very fast and only goes over problems that are on his handouts. He explains well but does not make students learn. You can get an easy A just by doing the problems in his handouts cuz the questions are essentially the same with different numbers. Too simplicity is the problem.

Its seems like an easy A and in most cases it is but you wont really learn how to do the work. In a week you'll forget everything. Try ur best not to mess up on any test; u only get two and no extra credit. He goes fast and makes a lot of jokes.Jokes are not bad it makes the class less boring.

This past summer session was my 3rd time taking Aquilio and like the past 2 classes, he was just as enthusiastic and energetic about making you learn. Learning Tax sucks but Aquilio does such an awesome job and the way he let us take the exams gradually was brilliant! As for the politics, I think it made class discussion fun and enjoyable.
