Comment:

Dr. Blankenbuehler truly wants his students to learn the material. You can definitely see the concern on his face if a student asks a question and he tries his best to answer to it. Chem 101 is just a Chem 111 class toned down a tad. Blankenbuehler taught very well. You will have to study for his exams but he does give bonus questions.

Dr. B is an outstanding professor. You will learn the material. The keys to doing well on his exams are to do the practice sheets he assigns, read your notes thoroughly, and do the book problems he states in the syllabus. He also throws random stuff from the reading at times, but that is rare. Always do the homework because it will save your grade.

He is very fun-going, but does not know how to teach. He still expects you to know very challenging problems and they are nothing like what is shown in class. You have to rely upon the textbook, but half of the time he doesn't agree, thus making your hard practice of the questions wortless.

Super nice guy. Organic Chemistry isnt the easiest of subjects, but he makes it all very clear and understandable. Very easy going and laid back. Highly understanding and willing to work with you if you have problems. I highly recommend him for any Science class!

AMAZING professor!!! The most fun class I've ever had. :) HE brought food and cut homework and made sure we all knew our stuff without requiring too much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
