Mark has experienced many avenues of life and offers his experiences as a means to understand what is being taught. His knowledge base is expansive and he is always prepared. He explains things well and makes it pretty hard to fail his class. Pay attention, follow his lead where information that will be seen again is concerned and participate.

His syllabus is often misleading . If your opinions or interpretations disagree with his, you will receive a bad grade. He will say that he does not grade harshly on grammar but that is an absolute joke! He grades harshly, overloads with reading and long papers, and is often rude and disrespectful to students during lecture.

His lectures were excellent. Everynight he would start packing up before the students. We could have sat there and learned from him all night. My favorite teacher at Cornerstone Univ. He is very blunt, teaches you to think for yourself and is not overly opinionated. There were quizzes every night but he tells you what to study for. RECOMMEND

He is an excellent professor who is passionate about Jesus and the Word of God. His entire ethics class is derived around that basic understanding. He takes the bible literally and leaves little room for interpretation - which is important when discussing things like a moral law and a Moral Law Giver - especially in a Christian environment.
