Professor Canada is the best! I took him for American Lit before 1865 and it was great. I learned so much about literature. The books are very expensive but you do make good use of them. Attendance is not mandatory but you never know when he is going to have a quiz so go to class. To pass this class all you have to do is read.

Wonderful teacher.. He certainly loves what he teaches. Has an extensive backround in it, used to be an editor so he catches mistakes very easily but he is more than willing to help anyone! currently the english departments chair position, so you know he's credible...but overall i enjoyed his class.. as long as you get the work done youre fine..

Very hard teacher! Constantly writing and still don't get it write. He grades pretty tough and quizes on the readings frenquently and requires some online task and does not grade papers until portfolios midterm and final. He is very nice and open to opinion and loves to get students involved but i struggle because of the essays.

This class required you to get on-line every Wed. to chat with instructor and other classmates. He is very strict on the writings. I would not recommend this class on-line, unless you have time to read all the stories, and get prepared to take his on-line test that is an hour long. Which I feel wasn't enough time!!!!!

He is very intelligent, and you will learn a lot; however, I would not advise taking him for an internet course. You will learn more in the classroom setting with him. He is tough. Also, he isn't all that understanding and forgiving when emergencies arise. My grade suffered when I was unable to make something up due to an emergency really hurt.

I never thought I would enjoy grammar. Dr. Canada has a real love for this subject, and it shows in his teaching. He is very helpful. He truly wants his students to learn. Plus, no diagraming sentence =).
