I took "Race and Human Variation" with him before he left the Anthro department. Now you will only find him in the honor's center. He's a good guy. Cares about his students. Wants to make you better. He is slightly pretentious and comes off as your creepy grandpa, but I think he is harmless.

I was not happy about taking this class but overall it was really easy. All he does is require that you recite what you know on the tests and you are guaranteed an A. At the end of the course I even considered switching my major to Anthropology and I am taking another ANT class next semester.

It's true that he'd older and the work load can be daunting, but I learned more in his class than any other. He's brilliant and the material was utterly fascinating. I wrote the hardest and most personally informative and satisfying research paper I've ever written for his class. He's also one of the most caring and open prof.s I've ever met.

Hes an interesting guy to say the least. The subject matter of his class was very interesting but his style of teaching was not very clear. His grading policy did not make a whole lot of sense. The only grades were only based on about 5 tests. I would compare my papers to classmate and a lot of times it felt like he just put random grade.

Cohen is a different kind of guy but he is a genius. He is there for his students more than almost any other professor is and is always willing to talk with you - whether it's to help you out or just to chat. Some people find him tough but you just have to do the readings and speak up. Don't be afraid and don't hate.

Dr. Cohen takes some getting used to and you can't be intimidated. After the first test you get used to it and then, as long as you study, his tests are probably easier than dealing with difficult multiple choice. He's very smart and wants you to get smarter from it. Tries not to talk over you. You'll learn alot and make it through. Go for it.

Dr. Cohen is incredibly smart, he is intimidating at first but you will learn so much from his class. There is a lot of reading and a paper required but he will help you as much as you want with it. I learned so much from this class, only take it if you are interested and want to learn! Good for nursing majors and other health majors!

Dr. cohen is a genius in his field. the ultimate scholar. i am lucky to have taken classes with him. he can be hard to understand at times and he does requier a lot of effort and hard work, but you come out of his class with loads of skills and knolwedge.

Good professor, his tests are definitely challenging to say the least but its because hes really interested in sorting out who is in class to learn and who isnt. Hes huge in his field and takes his class seriously therefore he expects his students to do the same. It really is interesting and worth it if your someone who doesnt mind hard work.
