This guy is super easy. Take him if you want to glide through a class. He is super kind and understanding, and he is willing to change things up for certain classes to help people learn better. A really nice guy and a super easy professor!

I love this man. I would take him for every class if I could. He is so passionate and it shows through his lectures, which makes them more engaging. There were no written tests, no reading quizzes, and only about 3 papers. The literature he chooses is always interesting and its always amazing to hear his insights about the readings.

Dr. Eaton knows his stuff and his lectures are clear. The subject is interesting, too, even though I wasn't a lit. major. He makes the class go by quickly, and what could be better than that? The kind of professor you expect to have in college. With Eaton, you get what you paid for, and at APU, that counts for a lot.

SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS I'VE EVER TAKEN AT APU! No joke. He is so caring, funny, and really takes an interest in his students learning. He is very easy-going and his class is not stressful at all, but you still have to try. Just read because discussions are really interesting and he keeps you engaged. Loved going to his class!

Fairly easy class.I learned from the class, but if you have any prior film knowledge the information is mostly a repeat of what you already know. He really teaches how to read a film.I would recommend the class if you want a fun class or if you want to learn something about film.Broke down films from the very basic concepts and had good thoughts.

Took Eaton for American Lit and a film topics class on the New Hollywood. He's a brilliant man with a really impressive resume. Great teacher too...not a rock star prof (as far as popularity) but very informative and open to students' ideas. He LOVES film, and Bob Dylan :). He's just a great man, and his classes are a good mix of info and ease.
