Dr. Hardt loooves to hear himself talk, and that's okay for me as long as I get the credit. Thankfully, his lectures are not totally boring. You only get graded on the 3 tests and 3 quizzes during the semester. The tests are pretty simple and straightforward and 95% of the material is from lecture, NOT the text. Don't skip class.

Very interesting individual. I enjoyed every lecture because he is never boring, he always has something to say about everything. I found his class very hard, but I took this class my freshman year so every class was not easy at first. As long as you READ the book and take notes you will do fine on the test. Tip: record his lectures.

Never a boring lecture, tests are totally subjective and always in essay form. ALWAYS ATTEND CLASS, he notices if you don't and will grade accordingly. His tests can be difficult because he expects papers to be longer rather than shorter, in the 10 page range. SPEAK UP in class, he likes feedback and participation.

His class was very difficult, but when I finally figured out how he sets up his tests and how to study it got better. He is very interesting and he makes you think about everything. I have actually continued his courses just for the education, not for my degree.

An interesting guy. Good teacher, though I can't always follow the subject. He likes to push the boundaries of acceptable social behavior. Once offered extra credit to anyone willing to get naked in front of the entire class. No one has ever taken it! lol Likes to mess with people. I enjoy the class, but I do find it a little bit difficult.

Kind of flaky (goes off on tangents), but interesting (maybe because of tangents). Initially comes across as confrontational, but it doesn't take long to realize he's trying to get students to *think*. Tests/quizes not hard if you pay attention.
