I graduated from FLCC in '02. Mark Hartwell's impact on my education, career and life has allowed me to provide for my family in a manner that I never dreamed possible. He was the best educator, mentor and inspirational leader that I've ever known. We all have our favorites, but Hartwell is unquestionably the best that I've ever encountered.

Hartwell is beyond all of the accolades that u read about. He's EASILY the best teacher FLCC has, and the best I ever had anywhere. I graduated from FLCC in '03, moved out of state, and became a teacher. I can't begin to explain the profound affect he made in my life. I know that he made me a better student, person, citizen and teacher. He is magic

I graduated from FLCC in '04 Like EVERYONE else I learned more from Hartwell than EVERY other FLCC teacher combined And yeah he's hotter than hell But recently ('09) my family had serious legal problems I wrote Hartwell Not surprisingly he took care of everything BTW he refused 2 take anything for his services IDK anyone who'd do what he did for us

I have gone to allot colleges, and earned 5 advanced degrees, no one comes close to Dr. Hartwell, He was not only the best teacher that I've ever had, he was also, the best adviser, mentor and friend anyone could ever imagine. If you're lucky enough to have had him as a professor, you know that aren't enough words to describe what a great man he is

I owe my career to Hartwell. I know two others who do too This summer in bar review class a discussion between a few of us started. Everyone one had their reason why they wanted 2 b an atty. Then one guy said I had this teacher 4 bus law named Hartwell, another man said OMG I had him at Medaille, I said make 3 @ FLCC U talk about Dr Hartwell's Opus

No one ever pushed me has hard, nor helped me to believe in myself as much as Hartwell. I was at a New Year's party with several of my former classmates, to a person, we all agreed he was the best teacher any of us had ever had. Its been a few years since we graduated, but what he taught us is still with us. Hartwell is way more than just handsome.

Initially, I took his class b/c he's hot. I soon learned that the class was tough, but Hartwell's ability to teach is beyond anything that I'd ever seen before or sense I never wanted his classes to end. As a result of Hartwell I've been employed in the legal field for 6+ years. NO ONE is better than Hartwell NO ONE ! A+ doesn't scratch the surface

12/08 I found out that I passed the NYS bar exam. I would have NEVER made it w/o Mark Hartwell. There truly aren't enough words to tell you how remarkable a man he is. As a female, who always got by on her looks, he taught me that I was worth way more. BTW, Hartwell is way more than just the hottest teacher at FLCC. I LOVE HARTWELL !!!

Two degrees (B.A./M.S.) AFTER having earned my A.S. from FLCC, and Mr Hartwell is still by far and away the best teacher that I ever had. Hartwell made you want to go to his class and learn (it wasn't just b/c because he was gorgeous either!). I used his classroom notes to earn both my advanced degrees. I helped many of classmates w/ law b/c of him

Hartwell is in a class all his own. He is EXCELLENT. It's IMPOSSIBLE to give a grade lower than an A+. Even those HONEST students who expect teachers to give a high grade w/o working CANNOT give him less than an A+. College is for responsible, hard working ADULTS, not children looking for ez grades and handouts. UR supposed to have graduated HS!!!

Hartwell was w/o a doubt the best teacher that I've ever had in my life. He was challenging, inspiring and fair. I had taken Law I w/ another instructor and hated it. I received a lower grade in Hartwell's class but learned more in A class with him than I did in 15 weeks w/ the other teacher. Simply put Hartwell is without peer at FLCC and UB !

Dr Hartwell is truly "Educational Royalty". I'm an FLCC alumn(03).I've also earned my BA(05)and MBA (07).Of all the classes that I taken, NONE compared with Hartwell's I still use his notes in both my professional and personal lives. He was the GREATEST teacher,advisor and speaker that I ever had the honor of taking. NO ONE comes close to Hartwell

Mark is simply the best teacher I have had. He makes a difficult class fun and interesting. One of the best things FLCC has ever done is hire Mark. You can see his enthusiasm and passion for teaching. We need more teachers like him!
