His handwriting is terrible. Its so hard to read and keep up. He messes up a lot as well. He even hand writes homework and tests so its difficult to understand. Tests are also only a few questions and 25% of your grade each.

As an EE major, I was not happy with his teaching in EE 221. The main thing is his handwriting. It is so poor and sloppy, everything blends together on the board and it is incredibly hard to follow.

Dr. Jerabek is great. He assigns 1 homework assignment per week 10 problems in length. He makes his tests clear and easy questions no tricks or extremely tough. He tells you exactly what type of questions will be on the test the class before. He is really lenient and gives more than plenty partial credit and curves if average isn't 75.

Get ready to read your book. His lectures mirror the text so you could just as well not go to class and just read your book (that's what I did). I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to Jerabek; he's neither good nor bad, he's just there. He's funny in class, unpleasant in office hours. I've had him for both Antennas and Emag. He's okay, I guess.

Jerabek is a great guy. He doesn't necessarily like teaching 221, but he is much more enthusiastic when teaching 345 and 445. He'll beat you up on the homework, but the tests are for basic concepts. He really knows his stuff and relates the material to real world applications.

Not for everyone. Unique sense of humor, hilarious in class if you let him be. Jerabek could easily be either your favorite or most hated teacher. Ultimately a master of his subject matter, pretty good instructor, nice guy. That being said, do yourself a favor and take Famouri.

Tends to rub people the wrong way in EE221, but in his later classes such as Electromagnetics, Fiber Optics, and Introduction to Antennas, It really shows how AWESOME of a teacher he is, and his sense of humor is very unique. You would be very hard pressed to find another professor that cared as much about his students knowing the material as he.

EE is very difficult. He doesn't seem to like teaching this class mainly because of the non-majors who are in the class because of a graduation requirement. He will help you as long as you put forth an effort to learn. If you are an EE/CPE major he will be a lot nicer to you

Fairly good professor. Showed a lot of enthusiasm when teaching and talking about beaves and thumper-thumpers. He is a nice guy but seems to over-simplify his notes because the hw is impossible without the solutions manual. Tests are very hard, but he added at least 8% to each test because apparently his students are inferior to the other teachers'

Obviously doesn't like teaching the class and won't spend time on an individual student. Although he can be a nice guy sometimes. Tests are hard, and the subject is boring. but he puts a wild ass curve on the grades at the end of the semester so most people pass.
