Absolutely loved Lee. Can be very sarcastic but if you can get used to it it's amusing. He made french interesting and cares about how his students do. His teaching style was easy to follow and it's nearly impossible to feel lost. 20 minutes of homework for each class and if you have high school french knowledge, you should pass with flying colors

Hilarious professor, worth getting up at 8:30 for. Clearly loves teaching and literature analysis, which I don't really enjoy that much but he makes it bearable. He's not terribly nice if you get something wrong in class, but is a fairly easy marker. Can be all over the place in terms of when things are due and doesn't use Moodle.

Comment:

Dr. Lee is overall a very kind and funny professor. Doing daily homework assignments is definitely crucial to getting a decent mark in the course. He gives quizzes almost every class, but there are so many that each only counts for a small fraction of your mark. He tells a lot of stories, and likes to sing songs. I would recommend his courses!

Lee puts you in the spot and is not entirely friendly if you get questions wrong. He can be very condescending and mean-spirited. However, he does try to keep the class interesting. He also assumes you know a lot of vocabulary that I hadn't learned. This class made me feel stupid and I am not taking French again because of this.

Best prof I have ever had! He loves what he is doing! He is very flexible and easy going. One of the few classes that I actaully had FUN in. He keeps his classes interesting and bases his exams off of the weekely quizes, so there are no surprises. If you do bad on a quiz, there are so many, that it doesnt count for much.

Great professor...he loves teaching and you can really tell. He makes the 830 classes interesting with his songs and stories. Although sometimes the material and activities seem a little basic and useless, he makes it interesting. Take him for FREN 1700 or else you will be sorry.

He made basic french grammar interesting! He's funny, passionate and overall an amazing prof. His weekly quizzes encourages you to keep up with the material and there are no surprises in midtermms or exams. He is fair, interesting and is more than willing to lend a hand outside of class. I'd recommend everyone to take 1700 with him!

I dont know what you guys are talking about! Dr. Lee is by far my favorite prof... I've had him since 1700 and he even managed to make that interesting, as boring as it is. Maybe it was my class, but he even came to Strasbourg with us and made life in france SO MUCH easier... anyway i take as many classes as I can with him

assignments very unclear (he'd change his mind 2 minutes after assigning them, 2 days after, 2 weeks after...), DON'T EVER let him tell you that he'll do something later (he won't, even if it's a course syllabus!), he obviously didn't understand the course material, and was *THE most frustrating prof i have ever had at mount allison.*

One of the funniest people I have ever encountered. Sometimes his "paranoiac" tendency allowed for some confusion. Nonetheless a great prof. Random marker. Some C's, some A's... fair enough! he is helpful, as long as you understand the gist of things. Watch out for your grammar with him!
