There are no tests, just chapter readings from the book and lectures. There is a process to the final paper that you must follow in order to get an A. Very helpful, although the class structure is kind of bland and boring.

Comment:
Class with Mark is very philosophical. He is highly interested in the subject matter he teaches. He does promote the sale of his book in class by requiring it which might be just slightly unethical regardless of who profits from it. He does seem interested in student success. Really be prepared to dig deep into ancient philosophy in this class.
