Micozzi is an animated, passionate teacher. He wants his students to succeed, but won't just hand it to you. Homework every day you have class, and you won't pass if you don't show up and participate and turn in homework. Attendance not mandatory, per se, but if you show up and participate you get enough points to help you pass if you struggle.

Oh god. This class ruined me. You need to study your butt off to make even a B. He assigns homework every class, you better not miss any class, tests are very hard. I admire his enthusiasm and passion but I regret taking this class more than any other. If you can, take a different class. Take Biology, Micozzi makes it look like a walk in the park.

he makes the material really interesting and easy to understand. i think one of my favorite things about the class is the lecture packet. he has you buy a lecture packet so all you have to do is HIGHLIGHT the main points from his lectures rather than taking notes. he's a true character and makes everything fun and it sticks in your mind.

Dr. Micozzi is the best teacher I have ever taken any type of class from. He acknowledges the different learning styles by using different modalities so we all remember. He's the best example of what a teacher needs to be. He's fair, yet expects our best efforts and makes it fun. If you're looking for an easy class forget it-don't waste his time.

I thought he was a great teacher and funny. He makes you work for your grade though, not a walk through class at all. Exams are online and timed along with the quizes. You decide your grade depending on how hard you work.
