This guy put me to sleep within 10 minutes. His monotone style of lecturing and utter lack of enthusiasm simply did not suit me, nor anyone else I know for that matter.

He actually doesn't teach the information in lecture until a class or two after you do the homework, so you really have to teach yourself. He told me in office hours that he thinks students teaching themselves is helpful. Out of 50 or so in my class, there were 4 present one day...Average was about 10. Overall, reading is mandatory and so are workshops.

worst and weirdest teacher ever. No one ever went to class and the test were just way out there. I suggest going to class and reading the book while youre there so you dont miss out on the cool demos. But recitation with Eric West saved me.

Horrible teacher. He doesnt know how to convey the material to students, and his in-class experiments never work. Out of a class of about 150 or so, only about 40 go to the lecture on any given day, unless there is a quiz or a test.
