Really nice guy, but he's a tough professor. Rarely communicates whats expected of you on papers pr projects. Hard to know how well you're doing because he never gives grades back.

The class was fun. The workload was pretty light. My biggest complaint is the lack of communication in your grades. It's kind of hard to know where your grade is coming from in some of the assignments. Other than that, It was a solid class.

As others have said he obviously picks favorites and you'll have a difficult time finding out where your grades are coming from. Rambles, and most if not all classes seem pointless, even though attendance is required.

Not the best teacher I've had at RC. His lectures could be 20 minutes but he stretches them out to last the whole time (and that gets pretty annoying!!) He's friendly but does pick favorites (very obvious). Make sure you do the work and he'll be happy with you.

People who complain that he plays favorites put no effort into his class. He is a phenomenal teacher that always makes himself available for students to talk with if they are struggling, and is absolutely one of the best teachers in Roanoke College
