Dr. Mraz really loves teaching. He is less concerned with grading his students and more concerned that they attend class and get the most out of it. He is great for graduate-level classes (makes you want to be a teacher) and doesn't plague students with busy work. His main downfall is that he is not helpful as an advisor.

history and philosophy of ed contains no philosphy. the tests are confusing and the attendance policy is the only reason to go to class. test items are from the book, his lectures are not. he's nice enough, and kind of funny, but i've taken nothing away from the class. i get As, i don't care for easy classes, but this was hard for the sake of hard.

Dr. Mraz is one of the greatest profs I have ever had. I love him. He makes class fun and keeps it as interesting as it can be. ANybody who cant get a good grade in his class may want to rethink their future as an educator. I love Dr. Mraz he is easily one of the greatest profs ever. Keep up that good work Dr. Mraz.

He is a very nice prof. His lectures tend to get boring, but from time to time, he livens them up with stories from his own teaching experiences and those woke me up. His tests are extremely hard, but if everyone does terrible he gives "accomodations". By the end of the semester I went from a D to an A, just scares ppl at first.

The last evaluation makes no sense. Dr. Mraz has not taught Intro to Ed since I have been at the university. He teachers History adn Philosophy of Education as well as Social Studies Methods and is an excellent Professor.

I have no idea what the last person was talking about but Dr. Mraz is the man! He is a great guy and a great professor who always makes his classes fun and enjoyable. Also, he is very good to his students and always takes time to listen to what they have to say. Like I have already mentioned, HE IS THE MAN!

If your looking for an easy class which you can pull a high grade, take him. If you want someone who can really teach I suggest Dr. Christmann, but his classes aren't easy.
