a lot of homework, midterm and final are long and detailed here and there, u better have an ear for classical music because he will ask you like 6 questions about the different parts of one song...2 out of the 3 operas were interesting to watch, i'd recommand him but be ready for the work and take a lot of notes

OH MY GOD!!! This class was the worst class ever!!! The professor won't explain anything in the class, but axpexts you to be prepared for this F... quises and midterms!!! I tried very hard, but still got D!!! Take any other professor, I am sure they are better.

he explained the importance of the extra credit assignment on the second to last day of class. WTF? i fell asleep a lot and didn't do too well on the hw's, AND i didn't do the extra credit, but i still managed an A-. this class sucked.

He annoyed me beyond verbalization. Mind you that I got an A+, but it was after intensive reading and memorizing. Yes, review sheets tell all, but you have to find the answers before. Too much work for a silly 2 credit class. DO NOT take him if you don't have time to do library assignments.

the easiest A i ever gotten. this guy is soo easy. he even gives review sheets and he drops the lowest test grade. but don't talk in his class. he gets ticked off when you do. MUST study review sheets - !!!

Don't make the mistake of taking him. Take Cohen or Hager ONLY. Priest is a bald, dorky, annoying nerd who got picked on in high school. Hes often mean and cracks unfunny jokes and laughs at them himself and no one gets it. Test arent hard but no Core 2.2 prof's are either. Take someone else

He is mean! It is scary to ask him questions because he has no problem embarrassing people. He gives way too much work (in the summer), but his tests are stright from the sheets you get. One of the worst classes i have ever taken, eventhough i got an A.

like others said - way too much work. do not take him in the summer.. crapload of homework, stuff on reserve, boring stuff, too much stupid listening exercises, not easy to grasp some of the content. stupid class and DEF too much work for 2 credits!!

TOO much work for a 2 credit course. The core music classes in BC suck in general, but at least with Priest you have a shot at getting an A in the end. Do the Homeworks, and study the damn sheets and you'll do fine.
