Generally liked because he is a meme, but if you look beyond that he is condescending and rude, and clearly is not interested in students success. There is an insane amount of course material, you are tested on information that is never directly explained in lecture, and he provides no resources to study for exams. Dont believe the hype.

A super great lecturer and I enjoyed going to his class even though I didnt love the content. Funny and engaging, final exam was pretty hard though. Hes a super cool dude with cool stories and LOVES what he teaches (especially tunnels)

I love this beautiful jem. He expands my cracks every day. Every time I go home after his lecture I say, why can't I just frack him already. His beautiful hawaiian shirts make my pahoehoe flow. Love this jem. Also, check out his memes.

Dr. Diederichs is a great guy, really cool, but teaches at a level that is too high for the class, and seems to have no concept of an appropriate workload. Helpful 1:1, great lecturer, but doesn't seem to get that the course is unreasonable.
